Real decisions deserve a second opinion from someone with your specific numbers in front of them.
The site, its calculators, and its articles are provided as they are, with no guarantee that a given figure matches what you'd get from a CPA or that a formula covers every edge case in your situation. The Independent Contractor Calculator, for instance, uses a flat self-employment tax rate and won't capture your specific bracket or state tax. Treat every result as a starting point.
